The reality most CFOs live with
NetSuite implementations fail in documented, predictable ways. Most do not fail at go-live; they fail in months three through twelve, when the cost of fixing them has already compounded. Here are the five failure modes we see most often, and what they have in common.
01
Over-customization in the initial build. Implementing custom SuiteScript and workflows for processes that NetSuite already handles natively. The platform becomes harder to upgrade, hardexr to support, and the original logic walks out the door with the consultants who wrote it.
02
Change management treated as a phase, not a discipline. End-user training compressed into the final two weeks of the project. Six months later, the finance team is exporting to Excel because nobody learned the report builder.
03
Data migration treated as a checkbox. Historical transaction quality, chart-of-accounts mapping, and revenue recognition logic rushed in the final sprint. The first close after go-live exposes every shortcut, and the audit cycle exposes the rest.
04
Scope creep with no governance. Mid-project requests get absorbed without trade-off conversations, the timeline slips, and the original business case gets lost in the new schedule. By the time go-live happens, the CFO is no longer sure what was supposed to be different.
05
Executive sponsorship lost between kickoff and cutover. The CFO who championed the project is in three other priorities by month four, the implementation partner stops pushing back on bad decisions, and the platform that goes live in month nine is no longer the one that was scoped in month one.
Every one of these is preventable. Most are preventable before the contract is signed.

Advisor First, Implementer Second
We start every engagement with a fit assessment, not a scope document. NetSuite is the right answer for a specific kind of company, and overkill for a different kind. Here is how we think about it.

You are product-centric. Inventory, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution sit at the core of your business.

You have multi-entity operations, multi-currency needs, or OneWorld consolidation requirements.

You need CRM, PSA, HCM, and financials in one platform, not three stitched together.

You are planning for IPO, M&A, or PE exit within the next three years and need auditor-familiar reporting.

You operate in Life Sciences, Energy, Manufacturing, or Wholesale Distribution.

Your revenue is between $50M and $1B+, and you expect to be operating NetSuite for ten years or more.

You have a small finance team (under five people) with no dedicated systems admin capacity.
.png)
You do not have, and do not plan to hire, an internal NetSuite administrator. NetSuite expects ongoing configuration ownership; without it, the platform drifts within twelve months.
.png)
An accelerated month-end close is your top finance priority. Closing in five days or less is not what NetSuite is optimized for; it is what the AI-native ERPs (Rillet, Campfire) are built around.
.png)
You are a pure SaaS business with clean subscription revenue, no inventory, and no operational complexity.
.png)
You need to be live in under six weeks, or you need finance-only scope (no CRM, PSA, HCM, or inventory).
If NetSuite is not the right fit, we will recommend Rillet, Campfire, or Sage Intacct honestly. We would rather win a smaller engagement on the right platform than a larger one on the wrong platform.

Our Differentiation
The NetSuite partner ecosystem is crowded. Most firms either specialize in one vertical and charge accordingly or run horizontally and never develop depth. Here's where we land.
01
Oracle NetSuite named us the 2025 Alliance Partner Spotlight Winner. We won a SuiteWorld Award in 2022. These are competitive awards judged on implementation quality and client outcomes, not sponsorship tiers.
02
Nine years building NetSuite practices specifically for Life Sciences, Energy, Manufacturing, and regulated industries. The compliance posture, control mapping, and reporting depth those sectors demand are where we have invested. Most NetSuite partners can configure the platform; fewer can build it the way the auditors want it the first time.
03
Our managed services practice exists because most NetSuite implementations fail slowly, with underused modules, undocumented customizations, and admins who leave. We stay on through managed services, admin-as-a-service, and ongoing optimization so the platform you paid to implement is still performing in year three.

How We Engage
Not every engagement starts with a full implementation. Some start with selection. Some start with a rescue. Some start on day 365, when the original partner has already walked away. Here is how we meet you where you are.
01
Independent evaluation of Oracle NetSuite software against Rillet, Campfire, and Sage Intacct. Two-week engagement. You walk away with a requirements document, a vendor scorecard, a TCO model, and a recommendation letter. If NetSuite is not the right fit, we say so in writing.
02
SuiteSuccess methodology for Life Sciences, Energy, Manufacturing, and Professional Services. Typical timeline: 3 to 4 months for mid-market scope, longer only when multi-entity OneWorld consolidation or heavy customization is in play. Fixed-fee phases. Scoped against your close calendar and fiscal year.
03
Post-go-live optimization, admin-as-a-service, help desk, system updates, new module rollouts, SuiteScript customization, and integration maintenance. Monthly retainer with a dedicated team that already knows your configuration. Designed for finance teams that want a certified NetSuite bench without full-time headcount.
04
Stalled implementations, half-deployed modules, and configurations that the original partner never documented. Many of our long-term clients started as rescue engagements. We assess the current state, identify what is salvageable, what needs reworking, and what should be rebuilt, then execute against a fixed scope and timeline.
Where We Have Depth
Implementations designed for the compliance, consolidation, and reporting needs of Life Sciences, Energy, and multi-entity businesses. The vertical you operate in shapes which modules matter, which controls the auditors will ask for, and which data the board needs each quarter. Our delivery team has built all of it.
01
Roivant, Paragonix, and other regulated-industry deployments. GxP, SOX readiness, and IPO-track OneWorld consolidation built in.
02
Clearfork and other energy and industrial deployments. Complex asset tracking, project accounting, field operations, and capital project reporting configured for the way energy businesses actually run.
03
Full MRP, WIP and routing, advanced inventory, and work orders. Implementations scoped to shop-floor reality, not configuration textbooks.
04
PSA, project accounting, subscription billing, and ASC 606 revenue recognition. For services firms that need the full ERP footprint, not just a billing system.
Our Process
STEP 01:
Current-state review of your finance, procurement, and reporting processes. We map the gaps before we scope the NetSuite modules.
STEP 02:
Fit-gap analysis, module selection (OneWorld, SuiteSuccess vertical editions, and custom modules), data migration plan, and integration architecture via zConnect.
STEP 03:
Configuration, data migration, SuiteScript customization, user training, and go-live. Scoped against your close calendar and fiscal year, not against a fixed template.
STEP 04:
Managed services, admin-as-a-service, help desk, system updates, new module rollouts, and ongoing optimization. Monthly retainer.
